How about New Mexico State up 10-0 in the 2nd over San Diego State? I feel for NMSU. They've struggled historically, and conference realignment has really screwed them. It would be really nice if New Mexico State won this game.

ULL got dumped by Texas. Interestingly, both team were ranked but only two positions apart.

USM is the only team that really pooped the bed this weekend. Everyone else won or played respectably. UTSA, Charlotte, and Mrshall really stood out this weekend. LA Tech also showed they will be a major player in conference this year.

I just thought it odd that no one even started a thread for the USM/USA game.

Did all the Will Hall goodwill go out the window with this thrashing.

The coach that never punts had his first game at Presbyterian College. His QB put up this crazy stat line. They won 84-43.

The Aggies lost 28-10 to a team picked at the top of the MWC west. Stats were farly even. Good job by them just not enough.

Not surprised. Texas dominated ULL the whole game, ULL scored against their 2nd string.

DEB and I call this before the game, ULL Last year was a covid farce and it is no doubt they don’t belong anywhere close to the Top 25

And the worst thing for the conference will be when we have 3 teams around 6-2 In each division. We need teams to separate themselves, and that has been really tough in recent years.

Yeah, you had to believe San Diego State was going to win in the long-run. It was a nice thought, though.
