This is basically an expansion team. I heard something like 69 of the 103 on roster have never played a down of college ball. Just remember this night when rahne has this team rolling. Remember,he did not leave penn state to be mediocre here. Baby steps,will be there all of this year and supporting them. You guys need to the same. Beats not playing. Love my monarchs.

Yeh,I was wrong. It was bad. I do believe the team will be good. They have talent but like the announcer said something like 69 of the 103 have never played a down in college and it showed. Just a thought, no matter how bad that was, we need to support them because I believe they will figure it out. Turning on them will not make it any better and the prize now my friend is that it looks like the AAC might definitely be In play and we need to show that we are a good fan base

When you are an ODU and trying to upset a team that's much better and experienced, you can't do the following: drop 4 or 5 passes, including first series that would have gotten first down. Consistent give opponent good field position. Wake average start was its 42. Good offenses take advantage of that all the time. Gotta have much much better special teams than we had. First game for international punter, but he was horrible in terms of height and distance. How many penalties before ball was snapped on punts? I'm chalking that up to young kids being overanxious to get down and make a play, but it had better improve. I agree gameplan was vanilla likely because of the skills shown at qb. Clearly that's a position that must improve, or hand the job to Vasco next year. That part was very disturbing. That said, there's enough already in place for us to improve and be competitive when we return to our level of competition. I wouldn't dare predict what that means in terms of wins.

Special teams coach probably got an ear full from RR. Has to improve.

Our number 20 cornerback got abused all night. He's way to small.

DBs got to learn to turn their heads to look for the ball and avoid interference calls. Couple of times the coverage was very good, but our guy got flagged. All he had to do was turn his head.

Mack certainly did disappoint. Looked a lot like Smartt 2 years ago. Speaking of which, Smartt may turn into a real weapon at receiver or even running back.

#10 a true freshman. Chalk his drops up to nerves. I'll be looking for progress here before drawing conclusions.
