Well, to be fair - almost every thread does seem to get derailed with this personal bickering.

Not taking a side one way or the other but if one or both of you was given some time in the hole it wouldn't go amiss.

No dog in this hunt but perhaps a single thread - sort of the boards very own cage fight, with Stammers vs JSW and ORU (Tag team). They can post all day and all night, back and forth, about who is a liar and who is a dumb***. "You're a Liar.......Well, You're a dumb*** Ad infinitum.

The rest of the board could keep score of the points and report monthly: So far its a deadlock with Stammers 7,851 and JSW/ORU 7,851 as we move into 2035.

Alternatively, perhaps a simple "I was wrong" from Stammers and a gracious acceptance by JSW and or ORU could end the Hatfields and McCoy shooting war so that the board could avoid the inevitable thread derailing that constantly occurs.

Fuente was interviewed on J&J in this week's podcasts. Good interview - I recommend it.
He was asked about the flack he took from some in the media on that decision.
He corrected and said something like, "You mean how EVERYONE in the media gave me hell!"
I couldn't help but think of poor Verno and how that might have been the beginning of the end for his show.
Fuente went on to say that it was obvious in practice that Paxton was the better qb, and gave the team the best chance to win THAT YEAR. It wasn't just a move for the future. He said the problem was that all the talent around Paxton was young too. He just didn't have the team that year.
