I don't think they're used to Tech being that much faster than they are on both sides of the ball. Will be interesting to see if the Carolina staff can make adjustments during halftime to slow them down.

That crowd is a huge asset for the Hokies, and it also shows the ACC in a very favorable light with the national stage all to themselves. Hope the ratings reflect that.

I hate that Burmeister didn't see Turner on the last possession - it was a sure TD.

Tech either won, or stalemated, the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and deserved the win. IMO, the last interception was a ground trapped ball. But the better team won.

Two nights in a row I've been unpleasantly surprised at review decisions. The Ohio State defensive back who launched, made helmet to helmet contact with a Minnesota receiver who was knocked out or stunned and fumbled when he went limp was reviewed and declared a legal hit. I've never seen a more text book targeting. And the uncontrolled interception tonight which was at least looked a bit more legit full speed. I hope this isn't the norm for officiating this year!

Good game by the Gobblers. Now the Heels will be playing catch-up all season. I HATE that conference games are played week 1.

Great win for Va Tech ... that crowd is sooo good. Hopefully the Hokies follow this up with strong efforts.
