Completely forgot that UCF and Boise play tonight with both teams having new coaches and USF plays at NC State.

It'd be good for us to see the AAC 0-3 in FBS non-conference games before the first Saturday even gets here.

Ohio St and Minnesota are playing tonight. I hope OSU loses. I'm tired of the love fest for them every year. Would be nice to see 4 new teams in the playoffs also.

I wouldn't be sad if they lost but then we'd have to hear about Rowing the Boat for weeks on end...

Of course they would. Alabama, Clemson and Ohio St can make the playoffs with 2 loses. This is how bias college football has gotten. It's hard for people to believe there are other good teams besides these 3.

Oklahoma is being considered heavily this year by a lot of people. But I agree with your general premise, because I believe Oklahoma to be one of the four, not just three. Notre Dame is always discussed, but they are barely a Top 10 team most years.
