While most teams have the majority of their starters back from the truncated 20‘/21‘ season, there still is ALOT of flux and ??? for this season.

-As far as the CAA, some teams played a full Winter/Spring season, some a partial, folding their tents early, TU not at all. How much if any, will playing in the Winter/Spring benefit?
-Most probably lost a few starters and/or 2 deep to graduation.
-Everyone probably lost a few starters and/or deep to transfer out.
-Everyone probably has at least a few transfers in. Maine is probably the most with a whopping 20.
-How much teams are taking advantage of the ’super senior‘ probably varies somewhat.

2.UD:
2019: 5-7/3-5
2020/21‘: 7-1/4-0. Lost in semis @ SDSU.
-HC Danny Rocco (5th season 26-17). Also at Liberty 2006-2011 went 47-20; at RU 2012-2016 went 26-14; 116-59 overall.

-Have a possible AA at RB in Justin Covington- believe hewas leading the natiin in rushing in 2019 before suffering a season ending knee injury).
-They did lose that stud WE who torched JMU in 2019 (transferred to VT).
-They have a trio of 1st team All CAA on defense, 1 at each level, 2 of them AAs (DL & LB)

2020/21’: 3-1.
HC Russ Huesman (5th season, 18-20). 8 seasons at ITC went 59-37; overall 77-57.

Have Manusco back at QB, and an AA on the DL (2 best DL in the CAA are Greene from JMU and Turner from RU).
-Two other 2020/21’ All CAA/pre season All CAA on defense at LB, one an AA
Had a stout run defense in the Spring.

2020/21’: 0-1. Think they had 3 straight games cancelled due to the virus, and then folded their tents.
-HC Sean McDonnell’s (22nd season, 154-96). 1st full season back as HC since 2018- missed 2019 with cancer. Will be 65 in Oct. Could it be his last season?
-Do have an AA at safety.

2019 they had 3 studs on offense. Two 1k+ yd WR’s (1 drafted, 1 UDFA) and stud OT (UDFA, dnp vs JMU). One of the top offenses in the CAA. But those 3 guys are gone now. Their defense was god awful 2019, the worst in the CAA. They got a bunch of transfers, and this past Spring upset VU and Maine, both in OT, both on the road. Lost at home to UD by a couple TDs. Clearly improved.

HC Greg Gattuso (8th season 34-40). Also went 97-32 94’-04’ at Duquesne)

QB Jeff Undercuffler (6’5”/230) lb 4th yr rSo Preseason Honorable Mention All CAA & Hero Sporrs AA. As a rFr in 2019 threw for 3,500+ yds & 41 TDs (led the nation) & was a Fr AA. Had two 1k+ yd stud WR that are both gone. As I recall watching them vs UNH in March the commentators said their top 3 WR from 2019 were gone. The new ones were young & inexperienced, none breakaway speed.

RB Carl Mofor (5‘9“/230) (2019 1,290 yds, 1st team all CAA, AA). 2021 pre season All CAA. He’ll like lead the league in carries. Vs UNH in March 30 carries but only 81 yds.

The Albany OL vs UNH looked big and SLOW. Defense looked ok. They did win @ UNH, but that was more of UNH snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
