What if aac splits into 2 after big 12 takes their fill
Let's say top 4 (ucf, houston, cincinnati, memphis) leave, could we see a conference split? Just throwing this out there. What about AAC EAST CONFERENCE- Temple, East Carolina, South Florida, Navy/VCU, Army/Dayton, Old Dominion, Charlotte, UAB, Marshall, Appalachian State, Richmond, Davidson

AAC WEST CONFERENCE- Tulsa, SMU, Tulane, Southern Mississippi, Rice, Colorado State, Utah State, UNLV, San Diego State, New Mexico, Wichita State, St. Louis

Thoughts? It would make more geographic sense and even though you lose big 4 and BYU and Boise State to Big 12. You could have 2 really nice conferences. I don't know, just a thought. You could even make run at an Air Force/Gonzaga split for the west.

Nope. Stay together we aren’t going to lose 4.

Everyone keeps forgetting the LB8 recruitment is going to STINK with out UT and OU... Pretty certain Kansas is next to jump.

Yea all these threads are meaningless. Nobody is going anywhere. It’s a lateral move if not a step down to go to that conference. If anything we might get Kansas State and maybe Oklahoma State out of the deal with a bump in pay.
