RE: AQ7 Week One
I heard that someone cut some fiber cable that connected everything around 3:00 P.M. and it messed up everything, the ticket office couldn't even function. They couldn't do play reviews as well.

The WAC digital network came to the rescue kind of, as they did have one camera on the game. I watched from there.

They got part of the game.

RE: AQ7 Week One
I am still very happy with where we are in the program development stage. We went toe to toe with an pretty good FCS team and matched them physically. And in just our second year of FCS. We played a lot of D2 kids.

We had a chance to get a touchdown right before the half. We had the ball inside the 5 and couldn’t score. Also missed the FG.

We threw an interception into the end zone as we were driving in the 4th qtr.

We make two plays, and this game might have a different outcome.

Congrats SFA. Sorry to hear about all of the issues with the broadcast. It was announced during the game replay wasn’t working but it did come back, I think in the 2nd qtr.

Go Texans.

ACU loses to SMU 56-9 and The game wasn’t as close as the score would indicate.

Now accepting recommendations for a new HC.

In the book "How to play college football," ACU is stuck in the first chapter. Historically, this is not a comfortable place for us.

This game was a lot closer than I expected. Hornet OL played awful, but we dominated TOP. Dixie missed a couple of wide open home run balls that could have made this interesting. Other than one scoring drive, DSU never threatened.

Not to belittle DSU too much, but I think this was more of the Hornets not having played in 91 weeks and looking out of sync than it was Dixie being playing well. I think Dixie will be a solid program once they get more D1 talent on the roster.

Interesting note: DSU HC Peterson was Sac's OC/QB coach under Sperbeck.

Sac State not playing for awhile and Dixie State has been playing and it was at home, were the main reasons I picked Dixie State for the upset.

That's how I took your post. I expected a 2+ TD win for the Hornets. Vegas (or at least some rando betting website I googled earlier in the week) had the Trailblazers as 19.5 point dogs.

It felt good finally watching a live Hornet football game.
