Watch episode 1 of ucf and smu shows .. Pesik SHOW REVIEWS

UCF- extremely well made, but poor storytelling...i cant see anyone but ucf fans being interested in this...the overarching story is "ucf is big-time football". which no one will care about but ucf fans

interesting story show moments- malzhan is extremely confident in ucf, wasnt shaken down 21-0...said ucf had won it by when ucf was still down 24-14 at halftime. he called the game right there

smu- all cinematography no story at all; its just an extremely well-made vlog ... only smu fans or people who like looking at well-edited football clips (like slow motion touchdown catches)

smu shows is way better than ucf but neither are good, the only advantage ucf had was having a more exciting game (not in control of the production). ucf had a story but one no one would care about and in a boring way....smu actually felt like it could tell a story but there was none

both are extremely lacking in storytelling.... they need to add a bigger overarching story like how "this is their year to win the conference championships", or "why they fell short last year and this how they'll respond".. give us the motivation of the players so we care about them (like last chance you/hardknocks).. both shows give you no reason to want to come back and watch the next episode or follow through the season.. they give you no reaon to root for the team or players...

ucf gets 4/10 -for being well made, and at least attempting a story even if its a bad one
smu get 4.5/10 - extremely cool cinematography and nothing else but there could be something there with some storytelling
