RE: TX Anti Abortion Law Is In Place - Toobin the zoom masturbator is upsetz
I am a Pro Choice Republican..... There is a point where it should be too late to abort, but I do not have a specific opinion of when that should be.

There are people who are simply unfit to bare and raise a child. Children born to these people have a high likelihood to be exposed to abuse, drugs, poverty, abandonment and just a long (or short) hard life that had nothing to do with anything but being unlucky enough to be born by a parent who was probably raised the same way. AKA socio-economic abortions - AKA "Ooops Abortions". I don't know how I feel about these in totality, but in general terms I still agree with them.

As for abortions that are health related (for the fetus or the mother) I am 100% on board with.

Now murder is the moral equivalent of having a difficult upbringing?

The point is that none of these laws are flexible enough to have the carve outs decent people would like to think are there.

The legislature can’t name every circumstance that could occur.

The end result is somebody is left on the wrong side of it at some point and that’s wrong. It’s as wrong as the evil that the law is intended to stop.

I'm looking thru the law. There is an exception to if the mother's life is in danger, so we can axe that talking point.

EDIT:
Also found this:
"MY UNBORN CHILD [FETUS] HAS AN IRREVERSIBLE MEDICAL
CONDITION OR ABNORMALITY, AS IDENTIFIED BY RELIABLE DIAGNOSTIC
PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTED IN MY MEDICAL FILE."

I think the problem is Science and the Medical Community can't tell anyone when Human Life definitively begins, and since that's the case one should always ere on the side of caution.

From what I understand, it does, but its extremely locked down as to not be able to use any excuse as a medical necessity.

And whatever numbnut thinks abortion is supported by 77% of the people is smoking ass crack.

This is apparently going to be a tough law to shoot down because of the way it was written. Thats really what the left is up in arms about. (That and the penalties for the providers who perform abortions.)

Bearing a child is dangerous to some extent every time.

It can be more risky for certain people in certain circumstances.

I’m not comfortable with the legislature deciding what level or risk is acceptable to me and my family when I’m the one that may be going gone to several kids a widower.

It’s a common cop out agreeing that there is a point that is too late but not having an opinion as to when that is. It either is or it isn’t.

And your entire second paragraph screams minorities. Planned parenthood would agree as they abort black babies like there is a BOGO sale going on every day.

So you’re saying the law is much ado about nothing because since pregnancy is risky anyways everybody gets an out?

I don’t think so.

6 weeks is not a logical time frame.

Dude, you just stated that the average time for a woman to become aware she is pregnant is 5.5 weeks.
Didn't know clinics had same day appointments

If they really care about aborting babies as they put on... theyll figure it out, although baby killers really arent that intelligent so i guess we will see.

I've always been on the fence about abortion. I'm morally against it, but I can see reasons where it could be necessary. I don't think it's my place to make those decisions for someone else. That said, abortions for birth control are abhorrent. And let's be honest, some huge percentage of them are precisely that.

No.

What I’m getting at is that carve out has little in the way of practical use.

That’s how ham-handed these laws often are.

They pay lip service to things like the health of the mother but it’s not really helpful because if you followed the basic letter of it then all abortion would be legal based on the risk that exists inherently. That obviously isn’t the intention here.

The only "abortions" I am ok with are those performed the next morning after conception. I can see of no other scenario. I see alot of people in favor of sterilization more so than abortion. Don't punish the child for pshitty useless parents. Maybe irresponsible people will learn a little responsibility if abortion isn't an option. And don't give me this alley way abortion crap.

By definition no.

Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being.

That but about unlawful is the formal definition in every state in the country.

Okay, that's an "it depends".

If I wake up in the middle of the night and find you rummaging in my house, it's self defense.

But your point is valid.
