#22 ranked GCU takes down CSU Bakersfield 2-1. A GCU player got a red card about 20 minutes into the game and GCU up 1-0. GCU had to play one man down for the next 70 minutes and still pulled out the win.

GCU takes down #22 ranked Oregon State tonight 1-0 in Corvallis. GCU moves to 3-1 on the season with their only loss to the 5th ranked Washington Huskies.

With the win GCU may move back into the top 25 after dropping off due to the loss to Washington.

Impressive out of the gate with the new program

With their WAC Defensive Player of the Week on goal, they drew 0-0 with Bellermine a few days back. Both teams came in 2-1.

Bellermine has wins versus Evansville and Purdue Fort Wayne, who are both decent programs, and lost 1-0 in OT to Louisville who is a strong program.

From what I've seen of them on the field, Chicago State is a decent team, and not the type that looked good only at first glance because of some early season wins over horrible teams. They're going to get some conference wins this year.

Interesting game on 9-9 is UVU versus Northwestern, so we can get a comparison of Northwestern vs other WAC teams we know more about. Should give insight into CSU level of play.

After the Chicago State loss, Northwestern is 2-0-1. Wins over Loyola 2-2, and UMKC
0-3-1 (tied #15 Virginia Tech, lost to #19 Marquette 2-1, and #21 James Madison 2-0)

Congrats. Nice win. I'd expect you back in the top 25 as well.

Seattle, 3-1 deserves a mention for their 1-0 road win over #24 Duke, who fell to 3-1.

Seattle plays Oregon State next. On the 20th, the Red Hawks play Washington, right before their matchup with Grand Canyon.

I’m looking to seeing how they fare against Xavier and Michigan. The Cougars visit Xavier tonight so that’ll be a nice test to see where they are.

Well, the Cougars held Xavier in check in regulation. Unfortunately, a defensive break lead to an open look in the first OT period and Xaviers wins it 1-0.

GCU beat St. Mary's tonight 1-0 to move to 4-1 in OOC play. It was a nail biter towards the end as St. Mary's had numerous shots on goal.

Xavier is 4-1, with their only loss to #1 Indiana 4 days ago 1-0,. Chicago State put up a fine showing.

It was definitely one of those as a fan that you go into just hoping to hang with the other team, and then as things continue on you begin to think… what if?! That’s how I was watching it. The Cougars only had a couple good scoring opportunities so their chances were limited, but their defense did great against a very tough Xavier team!

They’re at Michigan tomorrow — one of their final two non-conference matches remaining.

Chicago State put in a good effort, but were out matched by Michigan 2-1. Michigan defense kept Chicago in check the entire night and gave them very, very few shots.

All in all, a decent showing against another Big 10 opponent. Nobody expected CSU to be 1-1 versus the Big 10.

One more OOC versus NIU before WAC play starts.
