The mavens at Vegas obviously do not know the oft cited notion here that Penny cannot coach. To whom in Vegas should we send links?

Well, we're saved. Larry Brown can coach a little.

I am not convinced all here share your confidence.

The Tigers are assigned the sixth best odds of winning the NC, FWIW.

It won't change Temples faith, we need to be serious when hiring coaches, a former player isn't always the best option.

If we want to be winners we need to spend like winners, if we win the ROI will be worth it.

With what money. Temple needs to double its fan support in MBB and in FB to have any real dollars to spend. The effort in the AD needs to be developing and expanding the fan base. Sell the experience. If you try to sell the winning, what happens when the winning stops? We already know that answer, post Chaney, post Rhule.

I'm hoping that the reason he was hired is to do just that, the coaching, spending, and winning will just contribute to long term success for athletics, at least i hope it will, losing in all sports at this level will eventually lead to the demise of the athletic department.

Can that be categorized as a write-off?

Hopefully so.

Don't you have to make the tournament to win it?

No, you don't! Haven't you heard? Same goes for football. Just ask UCF!
