RE: WEEK 1: CUSA's chance at improving national perception
The next 4 weeks will be much tougher for WKU (our bye week is Sep 18th). @ Army, Indiana and @ MI State

Clearly, our offense can put up some points. Just hoping our defense can bend and not break over that 4 week stretch.

Nothing against Charlotte, but I'm not sure what warrants them getting a vote and not UTSA.

Charlotte won at home by 3 points against a Duke team that was 2-9 last season. Duke had over 100 yards more, as well as more first downs.

UTSA won on the road by 7 points against an Illinois team that was 2-6 last season. UTSA led the whole game, had over 100 yards more, as well as more first downs. Illinois also came into the game 1-0 after beating Nebraska.

It's really not a big deal, especially this early in the season. It just doesn't compute, because in comparing the two games we have so far, it clearly points to UTSA.

I think both clt and UTSA should have received votes.

Week 1 (hardest to easiest IMO)
FAU @ UF (hardest)
La Tech @ Mississippi State
Rice @ Arkansas
UTSA @ Illinois
Duke @ Charlotte
ODU @ Wake Forest
Marshall @ Navy
Southern Miss @ South Alabama
UTEP @ NMSU (easiest)

Improving CUSA's perception starts this week. We've got to win some of these games. How many do you see us winning? I'd be thrilled if we won 4 or more of these.

Was nice to get 4! CUSA needs to keep this up. Should have been 6 had USM/LT not **** the bed.
