I've already "mentally" moved on as if the Tigers will not have Bates. We'll be fine. That way, if we get him ... a huge bonus!

Like Dazzle, just a mental deadline. I won't turn him away if he shows up 1 hour before our first game. But I just don't see any reason for it to drag past Wednesday if it's going to happen. There is nothing stopping and nothing will change.

So I will move on at that time, preparing rotations in my head without him.
