RE: 2021 FOOTBALL SEASON
We had our 2nd Fall scrimmage today. I am seeing better speed and athleticism from our DEs. LBs, and secondary. I am also seeing better blocking from our OL. I hope it can actually improve as the season progresses.

RE: 2021 FOOTBALL SEASON
To my Aggie brethren, I’m going to be making the drive down next weekend to check out the rivalry game. Should I buy my tickets early or can I just get it at the gate? Any word on if the game is nearing a sellout?

You may want to check out Ticketmaster to get tickets ahead of time. If you want to be near midfield, your best bet is section TT, above the student section in the upper level around the 50. Still 50 yard line tickets there starting about row 34. I used to have season tickets a couple of rows down from there and they decent. If you want close to the field, sections E or I have availability but are beyond the 20 yd line.

I would suggest going this route and getting a free t-shirt.

Muchas gracias! I’ll take that t-shirt and tickets promo. I’m looking forward to seeing a good rivalry game. I went to the unm-nmsu game in abq a few years ago- good atmosphere!

Edit - looks like you gotta pick up by sept 3 and we’re driving down the 4th. Oh well. Thanks for the suggestion

Call and see if you can arrange to pick up on the 4th. You have nothing to lose, except your shirt!

It's time to buckle down, watch film and get ready for SMU. Hopefully we can make it an interesting game.

Had the benefit of attending a full day of practice and meetings with the legend Larry Kueck while he was at Lamar. That field house is really nice. Wish Tarleton could expand to something that size and this was 7 years ago.

Lamar also has four or five suites on the north end of the field that are accessible from the Montange Center. Personally I wish they had built the football athletic building and locker rooms on the north end also. That way the weight room and some other rooms could be more easily used by other sports and expansion of seating etc. would be easier, but that's not how they did it and it is a good venue with unblocked views from all seats.

Future AQ7 opponents North American and Louisiana College played today.

Unaffiliated NAU won 42-41 in their first college football game in the school s short history.

LC played their first game since they returned to the NAIA.

RE: 2021 FOOTBALL SEASON
Wanted to let the Aggie fans know that I had a good time at the game last night. Good atmosphere, big crowd but I thought Utep would’ve brought more fans for a game only 40 miles away. Not a flame or anything, but was last night a normal night for the amount of bugs in the stadium? Or as that an anomaly?

UTEP has been bad for awhile but when they're good they usually bring a ton of fans. It's time for NMSU to make a change at head coach. Doug Martin has done a ****** job especially with how 70% of returners for the 2020 season ended up transferring. Many of them to P-5's.
