He got cut by Tennessee I believe. That was probably it for his shot.

Maybe for this year although teams do sometimes like to keep a spare on the larger practice squads we now have. The Bengals had one on theirs up until last week or so for example.

If he sticks with it, I suspect he'll be able to get a free agent invitation next year somewhere. From there, who knows...

Looks like Chris Moore got elevated to full-time active roster as well after his 5 catch, 109 yard, 1 TD performance against the Pats last week. Was brought up as an emergency practice squad elevation for a one week contract prior to signing a full active squad contract today.

For a guy that I barely remember playing for us, he's carved out a pretty decent NFL career.

Hah, there are a lot of those tuberville era guys who had similar NFL careers. Eric Wilson is one of the Eagles better linebackers.

I remembering him too well. Was athletic but couldn’t make a play when the ball was in the air on a bet.

Once they got away from Tuberville and got real coaching they reached their potential.

One of the in-game items I enjoyed at Notre Dame was when they recapped how previous Irish players did in the NFL that past week. You could feature the Kelce bros each week, or even do a "so far this season" type thing when the home games are spread out over multiple weeks.

Add in Chris Moore, Huber, Hudson, Wilson. It wouldn't be hard to make a quick video piece that reinforces you can get to the NFL through Cincinnati while giving any casual fans a heads up on UC's football alumni.

Mike Boone reactivated to the active roster from Injured Reserve by the Broncos.

Korey Cunningham activated to the active roster from the practice squad by the Giants.

He was always a developmental project. But he just hasn't looked good at all the last few weeks since he was thrown into the starting job.

I said it when he declared. Had he stayed and cashed NIL checks this year instead, with the attention this team is getting and the scouts in the stands for every game, he’d have made himself many millions more over his career.

I disagree. His on field production was not disputed. He dropped in the draft due to measurables which would not change dramatically with another year. You got to go when you're wanted and he was wanted last year.

His last couple games (Tulsa and GA) he got exposed a bit. He was talented but had so little experience. He really only played 1 year of college ball. Guarantee he’d have developed with another year and he’d have likely been drafted quite a bit higher than where he went.

RE: Bearcats in the NFL - 2021
Playing terribly is an overreaction. As someone who follows the Browns, Hudson's had some struggles but he's also held his own. Not unlike most rook O Lineman. He wasn't intended to be a starter this year or a primary backup. He was pressed into duty because of a slew of injuries to lineman above him on the depth chart including two starters. There's only one guy's opinion that I put any stock in about Hudson - Coach Bill Callahan. He's one of the best, if not THE BEST, offensive line coach in the NFL. He was high on Hudson's upside to go along with his raw ability. Hudson impressed him and the other coaches during training camp. He's a work in progress but not a bad trajectory for a 4th round pick. Too early to say how he'll turn out but he has a great position coach [teacher] and the desire to get better. We'll see...

God, could you imagine this team if he stayed...not like the OL is even average right now, but that would've been a crazy group if he was still around. O'Quinn would still be at LG, McConnell/Metz at RG, Renfro at C and Hudson and Tunstall at the bookends. Good Lord.

While not a Bearcat, DeEarnest Johnson from USF had a game to remember for the Browns tonight. I cheer for our conference when they are not playing UC.

DeJ proves we deserve respect as he was an undrafted star.
