Unfortunately you might have to either leave the state temporarily or have an out of state friend place the bet for you. I don't think you can bet on Illinois college teams while in Illinois.

Correct. Anyone registered to a legal betting site in IL can’t bet on an IL college team even if they log in out of state. At this point I don’t recommend going to an illegal offshore site for 1 bet. Legal sites like Points Bet and Fan Dual are way easier to move funds, better promos, odds, etc.

Indiana, Michigan. You can sign up while in those states online, or go to casino. FanDual will let you use same acct to bet in either state.

Also is Bovada. Signed up long time ago, rarely use is and haven't cashed our in forever. They do have 150-1 NIU to win division. Although it says I bet "Northern Illionis."

FanDuel has NIU at 160-1 to win west.

May need to drive to Indiana to double down.

Interesting that the odds aren’t too far off other than EMU. Makes you wonder what someone may know. Personally, I haven’t seen anything from EMU thus far to suggest that they should have twice the better odds than NIU, value is terrible at Ceasars for EMU.

Not to mention that odds on Ohio look waaaaaaay off. Ohio looks like a bottom three team in the MAC right now

What’s great is I put $20 on NIU to win the division. That would give me $3k to cover the expense of going to the MACC and watch in person if I can win another 10k.

I doubt they’ve won the west. EMU has barely made any bowl games. And that’s almost impossible to do in this bowl crazy era. Easily the rock bottom team in the west and always have been.

Odds now sit at 30/1, which are the same as MiamiU and OhioU.

MiamiU was my preseason favorite to win the East, not sure how I was feeling about that a few weeks into the season but if Gabbert is healthy, I’ll ride with that choice. So obviously, I think MiamiU should have better odds.

OhioU on the other hand has looked like total crap and that win against Akron yesterday, in which they struggled early, didn’t do much in changing my opinion. NIU should have better odds than OhioU, even with the disparity in the two divisions.

NIU finally has better odds than EMU, which it should have had all along. And should always have. In perpetuity. Take that.

And one more thing, EMU is lucky to have the Gorton’s fisherman steering its boat (so many boat/football analogies in Michigan). Don’t lose sight that you are EMU.

That question was directed towards the holybovine troll but allow me this opportunity to congratulate Eastern on its TWO third-place finishes (thus qualifying for top half of the MAC West) since 1997 when the MAC started playing a Conference Championship game.

Those years, for anyone who is curious, were the aforementioned 2018 season and the 2007 season. Also, allow me to clarify any confusion with your contradictory claim of a second place finish (tie) in 2018. There are these things called tiebreakers, and using these tiebreakers, it turns out that the three-way tie you mentioned gets sorted out as such:

1) Head-to-head record: All three teams went 1-1 against each other.
2) Division record: All three teams went 3-2 in the division.
3) Winning percentage of cross-over opponents: Western with cross-over opponents winning percentage of .583 wins the tiebreaker giving it second place.
4) Remaining teams revert to head-to-head matchup and on the strength of a 28-26 victory over Toledo at Rynearson Stadium, it is Eastern Michigan that secures third-place and that coveted top half distinction.

Again, congratulations on Eastern’s TWO top half West division finishes since 1997.

NIU isn't a worldbeater by any stretch, but they do beat teams that play home games on faded parking lots.
