This is what you use one of your two yearly posts on?!?!?
And yeah JHS55, that far west of I10 doesn't even feel like Texas anymore. But neither does Houston in some aspects.
well el paso is way out there just ask our UTEP brethren, if your expecting cowboy hats and horses in houston well only in february...still texas though actually the oldest part of anglo inhabitants, galveston too

and this history isn’t even that long ago, it’s just that there has been sooo much innovation in technology that it makes it seem a long time ago

Well I figured I better start getting used to this place.
After reading too many COVID posts this actually made me chuckle, appreciate it.
And I may be a homer & in the minority, but I think some Baylor/Memphis basketball & Football matchups would be very entertaining……to include some of my brethren I think you can say same thing for both sports matchups with at least UH & Cincy & probably some more examples too…

Oh hell yeah I'd love playing Memphis in both. We enjoyed playing UH in the Final Four (Love me some DeJon Jarreau) and they would've really enjoyed playing us in football this year like everyone but Kansas and Kansas State did.
On a personal level an annual football schedule of Tech, TCU, UH, and SMU would be something that would help with the "oh hey boy, you took a wrong turn didn't you" that we're going to have if the AAC/B12 merger ESPN wants does happen. For us
Tech- Always fun with a series that is 39-39-1
TCU- Our main rival with some hate 56-53-7 TCU
UH- We've skirted them for 25 years which I know UH wants payback 14-13-1 BU
SMU- I'd consider the private trio to be a nice potential trivalry (winner gets dad's Land Rover) for the conference. BU has won 13 straight but the series is still just 39-36-7 BU
So many close series with every school investing a **** ton in football and knowing each other so well.

We'll see what happens.
I saw Memphis/Baylor in Las Vegas at the Orleans arena Las Vegas Invitational.
I was next to the floor trying to take pics with my phone when a guy on the court with an espn hat on yelled at me to give him the phone. He was head of the camera crew setting up the lighting for tv and he took this video on my phone for me.
At first I thought he was trying to steal my phone. Lol You can hear him telling the Tiger players to smile.

I would love to see overhead photos from the following games this year where name teams visit AAC schools.
Anyone who lets visiting team outdraw them is automatically eliminated from B12 consideration…….J/K
TT @ UH
FL @ USF
MSU @ UM
OU @ Tulane
S. Car @ ECU
BC @ Temple
Boise @ UCF ( doubt Boise travels well to that game though)
I am sure there are more.
Disappointed UC & SMU don’t have a marquee non conference opponent visiting this year.
But I get they have 1 one road.
S. Car@ ECU will be a total sellout and might win the attendance competition
florida @ USF will be strong too
Boise @ UCF , geez sellout too
mississippi su and memphis could bring out a bunch too especially if their passing out free Elvis impersonating gear... just sayin
I’m not saying Elvis won’t be in the house, but the UM/MSU attendance will rival any other AAC home game for attendance this year……even with UM inflating ticket prices drastically for that game.
You'd win if we both sold out then. I think your current capacity has us beat by about 7k.
Jon Gilbert just announced that Bill Clark Homes purchased the remaining upper deck seats for the SC game to give to (local Pirate) first responders. Looks like we're sold out.
