The whole city should protest but after reading some of the tweets it seems that there are a bunch of soy boys and girls that are on the governments side. Afterall, the police aka gestapo were only following orders.

It looks like Kent State with rubber bullets. "I'M ONLY DOING MY JOB!" THEY SHOUTED.

If people think that the LEO will take their side in a conflict with authorities all they have to do is watch videos from all over the world where authorities have ordered their police to confront protestors.

Well, don't you know that, "THEY WERE JUST DOING THEIR JOB!"

I would never, ever think that Australia would/could become a Gestapo state. I used to think that the country was so nice. Wow, I am surprised.

Do you guys think the US will ever become THAT bad?

I've read reports from some Aussies that the police hate that they are being used that way. However, they did mention that there are some police that seem to be relishing this.

I believe you, in every police department there are people that pin that badge on just because it gives them a lot of power. They were probably bullies in school.

Yep, but the "bad" cops greatly outnumber and out muscle the relative few "good" cops, so the "good" cops just have to watch it all and ignore it.

Blue states and cities, yes. Red states no.

They must have different rules for different areas. Sitting here watching the AFL grand final with a packed house.

The places to visit in Australia are the Gold Coast, Darwin in the north and Perth in the west. I suppose Ayers Rock in the center of the continent is still okay.

Sydney and Melbourne used to be worth visiting but they are full blown far left now.

I'm just glad I got my visits in between 1987 and 1993.

Wow, now I'm glad I climbed it in 1987. Got that one checked off on my "global travel to do" list early on, LOL.

True. I've been there a couple of times but never had the urge to climb.
