John Skipper interview is interesting. He is the ex-ESPN president.
Says NFL signed a long term deal because they figure it is the last big increase. Non-sports broadcasts are already going to streaming.
ACC needs to keep its basketball heritage. He seems to think we are going to 4 superconferences and ACC will be one. But he said there are a few schools that are standing in the way. Hosts suggested Wake Forest and Duke. Skipper said there was a need for schools in Kansas, Indiana, Kentucky and North Carolina where basketball was king.
Big 12's problem was not enough geography. Its down to 5 states. Was never more than 7, mostly lightly populated.
