Pretty quick move up through the system, eye test his numbers were not overly impressive, his era at AAA was north of 6.

Austin pitched one inning tonight against Texas. He allowed one hit but struck out two giving up 0 earned runs.

Yeah, it'd be a tough one... but would be cool to see.

I'd go with Austin Warren with the punch out myself. Both need to establish but it appears that Jeffers has a little more rope with his HR prowess yet low BA.

On a side note, it was fun and surprising to see Austin get this far. He's very athletic but I didn't see it this early if at all because I worried about his size at the MLB level but he freaking brings it. He was at 96 MPH and that was really cool to see.

Jeffers is surprising as well but not quite as shocking. When it comes to baseball, Proff knows this stuff way more than me and can tell way more on the upside on guys. It's just great to see them get all the way there and do some good things.

I think that it helps the program too seeing guys get there.

Austin picked up his first win last night with 2.1 innings of scoreless work against the dodgers.
