The 1st amendment is alive and well in the SEC

But

In the end you better do what is best for the conference

RE: Texas A&M will vote for Texas and Oklahoma
I get why our average fan is unhappy about this

But:

1) A lot of their unhappiness is over the loss of a recruiting advantage that no longer matters anyway now that the NIL is here. They just haven’t caught up to the idea of it yet. They’re horse and buggy operators worrying about the price of horses when the first model T has rolled off the assembly line…but they’re sitting on top of a huge oil reserve

2) What every schools leadership (including yours) wants is stability and big pay checks. Everything is else is secondary. EVERYTHING.

3) They will feel a lot better when we beat the snot out of a team that’s running away from annual losses to TCU, KSU and ISU

Birmingham didn’t have to say a word

Our leadership doesn’t say no to an extra 15million a year just like yours wouldn’t.

Exactly. Not just TV money, but boosting the home football schedule with a game every year against either the Horns or Sooners will allow them to jack up the price of football tickets and/or the minimum donations required to buy season tickets.

Yeah somehow I don’t think this is how they’re going to feel after the first SEC season

This is a team that can’t even handle KSU most year anymore

Should be fun

What am I mad about? The extra money or getting to beat a terrible UT team that loses annually to ISU, KSU and TCU?
