Umm...what?

Judy still has no clue? It’s definitely one of the weirdest statements I’ve ever seen in a situation like this.

I'm curious what would we have stated in this position? I am in no way suggesting this was a great statement, but what can you really say in her position?

“We know we’re screwed if any schools get a call but we believe we done enough damage by sitting on our butts that no school could possibly be attractive enough to get a call to leave us.”

Read the Pac 12 commissioners statement and Judy's doesnt seem so bad.

In short it conveys "we'll have to wait and see".

And that's the damn truth. If the Big 12 replaces two teams it's a minimal change and might even work to get us in the AAC. If they scatter, no one has a clue what is going to happen... although I'm sure OU and UT hope the wheels fly off. If the Big 12 comes apart, they don't have a conference to pay that $80m exit fee to.

Maybe, just maybe, going to 14 teams, was to protect C-USA during this round of realignment and our people were just years ahead of everyone else.
