RE: RIP College Sports
Yet, I will still watch because I love (what is left) of the sport. I haven't really reflected much on how this will affect ND, but I assume it will in some way.

I won't. Even if Pitt is included in the madness, I'll refuse to watch. My days as a college fan are over. Thankfully the players are getting some piece of the pie, even if it's not from the greedy presidents or conference commissioners.

Fixed it for you, Clairton Panther, and you don't have to thank me either. 04-cheers

I felt the same way about the NFL as you did about college sports. To be honest, I couldn't tell you when I actually watched a full NFL game. I will probably watch as much as I did before as it relates to big time college football, (the same four games as last time [UGa vs Auburn, UGa vs Florida, UGa vs Tennessee, and UGa vs GagTech and 2 Oregon games], maybe UGa vs Clemson and Oregon vs Ohio State also but I will continue to watch the Sunbelt and the University of Montevallo as much, if not even more than before. Makes me feel good knowing that E$PN doesn't get much $$'s from me.

Welcome to the club. When UC was left behind I stopped watching sports for the most part, except for my Bearcats. I wasn’t going to give ESPN the satisfaction of putting a rating on College Game Day or a P5 game so I could hear them exclude my alma mater in conversation. Sucks doesn’t it?

RE: RIP College Sports
This is an emotional (and IMO temporary) response to what may happen sooner than we expected. But we all probably knew in our heart of hearts that this was the direction we were going. I believe, at the end of the day, our sports viewing habits won't change all that much despite what we may say today.

RE: RIP College Sports
My viewing habits have changed. Circa 2010-2016 I watched upwards of 3 games a Saturday and when Pitt was away, I watched upwards of 6 or 7 games. Now I only watch Pitt and maybe Oregon State, if they're on. Back in 2016 I watched every bowl game, last off-season I watched only Pitts bowl game and the national title game.
