Milley Says Military Shouldn't Be Involved in Domestic Politics but Then Steps in It
Quote:Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, made a statement about how the military should not be involved in domestic politics during a Pentagon news conference today.

From ABC:

“I want you to know, and I want everyone to know, I want America to know, that the United States military is an apolitical institution — we were then, we are now — and our oath is to the Constitution, not to any individual at all,” he said. “And the military did not and will not and should not ever get involved in domestic politics. We don’t arbitrate elections. That’s the job of the judiciary and the legislature and the American people. It is not the job of the U.S. military. We stayed out of politics, we’re an apolitical institution.”

Milley was talking about not being involved in any questions about the election.

Milley is right that the military should not be involved in domestic politics. We all used to understand that. But since Joe Biden has come in, that’s exactly what the military has been involved in, with Milley himself being involved in politics.

Milley was also asked today about “white rage” which he refused to comment on saying it was “too complicated” a topic to get into now.

Why was he asked about that? Because of his prior comments.

Milley is the same guy pushing CRT in the military. Milley himself argued that “white rage” should be taught to people in the military, indicating that they were teaching CRT to the military. How deluded is he? He attributes the Capitol riot to “white rage,” which is itself a racist term, as is attributing “rage” to any race.

Of course, that’s political and he’s pushing it on the military. It’s also a lie since “white rage” had nothing to do with the riot. But it’s part of the Democratic talking points to call the riot a racist event. So he’s literally taking up for a Democratic talking point. While he’s not getting involved in domestic politics. How is this guy the head of the Joint Chiefs?

This is the military that went after Tucker Carlson for being critical of them doing things for woke reasons, not readiness reasons, and had officers respond in uniform and from official accounts. Even the DoD website put out nonsense like this.

But that’s not getting involved in domestic politics, right? Imagine, have you ever heard the DoD going after a journalist like that before and writing that they were “smiting” him?

This is what Joe Biden and Milley have brought. They’re literally turning the military on its head.

"It is not the job of the U.S. military. We stayed out of politics, we’re an apolitical institution."

Lemme fix this for you General.

"It didn't used to be the job of the US Military. We used to stay out of politics, we used to be an apolitical institution. Now, we are an agenda driven functionary of the Democrat party and I am a liar."
