That is their biggest strength so while I wouldn't say they have the better program (they have zero FF's) I will say they have the larger potential IMHO.

If they do, they haven’t reached that potential in forever. ever I just looked at five or six “best programs all-time” lists and Memphis came out on top in every single one.

^ fixed...they may not ever (my wish) but if they keep throwing that SEC football money at the program they could get a pop-up FF (see South Carolina) at any time.

Fixed your fix. This is a message board where you get to express yourself the way you choose, grammar and spell check be damned. I know standard English, so stop it.

Back to your post, that’s quite possible. IF it happens, we’d still be up 3* to 1.

I hope both teams are undefeated going into the December game and prove him wrong.

If you are going by recruiting rankings (which is what we do quite a bit) then, yeah, UT has a better team.

Facts are facts.

RE: UT Basketball A Better Team?
They just brought in the 3rd best recruiting class in 2021.

They will have three 5* on the roster, an experienced grad center in Fulkerson, a white boy shooter xfer from Aubrun. And a super experienced backcourt with Bailey and Vescovi.

True, Barnes tends to underperform in the NCAAt, but that still doesn't take away the fact TN has a (far) better roster on paper.

The good news is that all that talent, including their two leading scorers who are both gone, went 8-8 to finish the season. They shouldn't be much better than last year, if at all.

As I said earlier...Yes, they have the higher ranked players.
But their best talent is new talent.
Our best talent are veterans, including an unranked guy who could be the best player on the floor when we play them (Deandre).
It will be interesting.
