I wonder how an 18, 19, or 20 year old kid living far from home will manage an income or pile of cash in the tens of thousands of dollars? I would hope he/she has a wise financial manager or advisor, but even with an advisor, some won't listen and I suspect there will be a percentage of them that blow the money on crazy things that get the in trouble with the university or the law or both.

Have you ever seen the ESPN documentary called “Broke” it will more than likely go something like that.

I wonder how a university will handle a kid making 1mil per year off a prominent booster who refuses to go to class & tells the administration F off?

they kick him off the team...his contract would be kaput...as the kid would have to move to another school.

think so? I have my doubts. These are no longer college students… they’re pros, and the idea of a student athlete is forever done.
