Great info. I wonder how many season tickets have been sold? I presumed a lot of these blocked out are held for single game.

I too appreciate the work. But I wanted to clarify what we know about those numbers. That's about 15K tickets remaining for that game. Do we know how many are being held aside for visiting teams, the band, students, etc.? And are those 15K hard numbers or will more tickets from some of those sections be released to sell later?

And my real question is, if there are 47K seats available, and 15K left, what does this tell us about how many season tickets have been sold?

I'll add to that, and I could have misunderstood it, but.... I think I read that people that bought the suites also have a seat in the stands. I think many of those people selected theirs near the "Club 125" section. So, how many empty seats will be in those areas simply because the owner of those seats are in the suites? Again, I may have misunderstood... and I don't know how many that would actually be.

You did not misunderstand. When they first started letting people choose their seats back in April, before they even started, I noticed blocks of seats already taken. I called and they said those were the sweet holders that also got a group of ten outdoor seats of their choosing.

Also, isn’t the capacity of seats closer to 40k than 45k?

Is that seats, or including the grass and standing room though?

Some of the seats that are currently blocked out when searching for single game tickets are because they're being held (for now) as season ticket seats. If they haven't sold them as season tickets by the time we get closer to kickoff I imagine more seats will come into the single game ticket pot.

Seats. They added seats to the design since they broke ground, including filling in the grassy area of the north end zone with an additional 1200 seats.

Ok good to know. I must have remembered that number incorrectly from an older article. Thanks for the clarification.

My guess is that a large number of the seats currently blocked off will become available but the current picture ought to spur some folks to go ahead and commit.

I assume they have Club level season tickets still available. After we ordered our tickets, a friend wants to go with us so we would need six tickets in the club level. We only had four but thought if we called the ticket office they could get them close- if they still had tickets. We had to move down some rows but we got our six tickets together. So there was still some club level tickets as of last week.

Thought I had already ordered JSU tickets but didnt see that when I logged into the Ticket Portal. Bought 2 yesterday. Expect to get 2 for Tulane also ($20 each). Want to go to the S Miss game but think $40 each is a bit high to pay. Will possibly wait to see what shows up on Stub Hub, etc.

I was in the same boat on the JSU tix. Thought I had ordered them but it didnt show in the portal. So I checked my email and sure enough I had ordered them. It came as a separate email from my season ticket order with the subject UAB Athletics Ticket Confirmation. Might want to double check that you didnt just buy a second set!

Looking at the availabilities, lower bowl is filling up fast on the sidelines, especially for Liberty. Pretty good for FAU, later in the season there's a good bit more available lower level east side. Liberty game and FAU game's trending toward a great crowd. I am guessing we sold around 8-10K season tickets thus far. Hopefully can upgrade some folks who buy single game.
