CFP -Uniform Edition
I am an admitted uni geek.

I like teams that still wear historical uniforms (Penn State) and teams that consistently wear the same uniform (the opposite of Oregon).

For this exercise Im going to forgot the Shamrock Series uniforms ever existed

so the uniform playoff follows:

Top 6 Conference Champions

ACC Fla State
BIG Penn State
B 12 Texas
MWC Wyoming
PAC UCLA
SEC Alabama

At large

ND
Army
Navy
Air Force
Michigan
SMU

Title Game

ND (I'm biased) beats a cinderella Wyoming team (what team pulls off brown, yellow and white better?)

Some other teams receiving at large votes

N Carolina
Nebraska
Tenn
Colorado
GA

Tennessee keeps trotting out those ugly gray uniforms. Not really a fan of creamsicle but it really beats their gray. I do like their helmets

I agree I hate the Tennessee gray unis and the black ones too

I could see people hating the Penn State uniforms but I like the basic. Less is more.

Kudos to USC, Kanas State, LSU and others who IMO don't have great uniforms but have stayed the course and kept with tradition

I prefer traditional uniforms with zero or minute changes or modern clean uniforms. I prefer consistency as well. I despise non-school color uniforms (especially the overuse of gray and black uniforms) and gradient coloring drives me up the wall. I am also a helmet snob and cannot stand overly busy logos or helmets trying to do too much.

RE: CFP -Uniform Edition
I like throwback uniforms. Modern alternate unis: not so much.

I used to hate Penn State's uniforms, but I like them now.

I'm not a fan of the University of Texas, but their all white road uniform is classic.

I can handle a handful of alternate uniforms. An example is when Ole Miss switches between blue and red jerseys.

I despise black as an alternate color. Recruits love it, but I can't stand it.

And if Oregon and Oklahoma State ever meet in a bowl game...it'll take them longer to come up with uniform combinations than it will to play the game!

Top 6 Conference Champs
ACC - UNC
Big Ten - Michigan
Pac-12 - UCLA
Big 12 - Texas
SEC - Tennessee
AAC - Tulane

At-Larges
Florida State
USC
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Alabama
Oregon

I’m generally very traditionalist when it comes to sports uniforms, but I actually think Oregon pulls off their different uniform schemes very well. It’s clear that Phil Knight made sure that Nike puts their A-team designers on that account. (In contrast, the Maryland-Under Armour uniforms are ghastly.)

I’m a traditionalist. I’d like to see schools keep things consistent. I’m okay with having a third “special” uniform that only comes out for special occasions but I’m not a fan of schools having 254 different possible combinations that they can’t possibly exhaust before they inevitably move to another new design a few years later.

Stop the Oregon-ification of collegiate athletic uniforms.

Ga. Southern's are very close to simply being the blue version of Alabama's crimson uniforms.

I'm kind of a simple, traditional uniform guy. Most of the national championship winners/CFB powers do not frequently change their unis, although virtually everyone has some kind of alternate at least once a year.

And I'm well aware my App State team changes their unis practically every week. Oh well. Some things matter more than uniforms.

Seriously, as long as it's not incorporating non school colors, changes don't get me all that bothered. I'm very much not a fan of App State's all white uniforms with white helmets because the colors are BLACK and gold. Similarly, I don't like they grays or black by Tennessee, as others have pointed out.

For that matter, I've never been a fan of t-shirts for schools that feature non school colors. But it's not the end of the end of the world. At least the person wearing the navy or green or pink App shirt is supporting their school.

RE: CFP -Uniform Edition
Marshall’s all white roadies are absolutely solid IMHO. We usually reserve those for important/big games. My guess is we will see them at app state.

There are only two schools that are bright green (Kelly green in Marshall’s case and not sure what UNT calls theirs) so I think our home unis are sharp as well. We do have a black jersey, but we only wear those for the game closest to 11-14.

Marshall and North Texas (Kelly and ?)

Every other school is a much darker shade:

UAB
Ohio
Eastern Michigan
Charlotte
USF
Michigan State
Baylor
Oregon
Hawai’i
Colorado State
