The Dylan Laible offer is big, that is his first d1 offer
I think he will commit
I doubt he ever sees the field
But he probably will commit
Also we have always recruited Hutchinson CC pretty well

As Steve is fond of pointing out we have a D3 JUCO All American currently on our roster redshirting. This would be D1 JUCO All American if we land him.

I love JUCO QBs. There’s a lot of hidden talent out there.

Yea I love a revolving door of 1 year grad transfers, who give HS quarterbacks little reason to come to EMU. CC does not develop QB's, thus he goes and finds one that another coach already has and uses them for a year.

I share your frustrations, but sometimes you can get JUCOs for as many as 3 years.

Like the current one who is redshirting.

This kid is a JUCO transfer, not a grad transfer.

I’d happily take him. Looking at the tape, you see a GIANT QB who can move. Pretty decent arm strength, particularly when he has time to set up his feet and throw with a normal motion. He can really get it out to the flats.

Unfortunately, most of his recent highlights have him moving around for his life, throwing off his back foot, and/or with a sidearm motion. Even then, the arm strength is pretty good.

Just tossing this out cold:

How many transfers will MSU lose? Do we stand to pick any up?

Given the culture there, they are probably more likely to end up at CMU.

Or the state pen.

MSU is already losing verbal commits. For P5 programs, they are probably circling like vultures waiting to hear of de-commits.

As far as transfers, they seem to pick their spots based on competition level and I think playing time at the new school (our transfer LBs saw an opening for starter minutes).

I have no idea if there will be a mass exodus among players who were not involved in the post game fight. We have several MSU transfers so who knows if more are coming...

A kid I am very high on, Jameel Croft, is commiting today. I hope he chooses us but I doubt he will say no to Kansas or Tennessee.

I've seen him play some games on Chad Bush's The Prep. He is a player. No doubt.

Kind of hard to say no to Tennessee. Kind of like an academic wiz kid turning down Harvard to go to Central Michigan. 03-lmfao (I like to take little playful digs at CMU).
