EMU is an 8 point underdog @CMU (128 over/under)

Final game of the season. It is as meaningless for EMU as the Akron win (although the loss dropped Akron to a tie with Toledo for the conference lead). This game is meaningless for both, CMU is locked into the 4th seed and unfortunately EMU is locked out of the tournament. But like the Akron game, would love for EMU to win in order to finish the season strong. Not sure which we will get: EMU comes in with a newfound confidence after such a huge win OR EMU has a letdown after such a huge win.

Either way, and as always… Go EMU!!!!

In some ways, yes you should be numb. The season is over… So what’s the point.

In some ways, no. EMU is 4-2 over the last 6 games which is the best basketball they have played in a really long time… which is exciting in ways.

It will definitely be interesting to see if Eastern can build on that confidence boost they got at akron.

Did this team actually get comfortable with playing without tyson? Any chance Tyson plays tonight?

Ha! All three. EMU even money, EMU with the points, and the over (Luckey said Acuff will play. Not sure if he was just guessing/wishing). I am up on the year, so I figured I’d take some risk on the last game. I am NOT advocating for any of these bets!

The MAC sucks this year.

We are not playing good basketball and have a practice player, Schnyder's gobbling up minutes while our star is out. Yet, at home on senior night, CMU is only up six points.

A loss that could have been a win. Just couldn't hold the lead in regulation.

Well, a 3 point overtime loss on the road is nothing to hang your head over. But would have been nice to get the win- seemed in their hand in regulation.

Will point out that EMU was outrebounded 60-48… hopefully that will be a lesson to go after if a bit more on rebounds

No Legend tonight. I am assuming injured?

His distribution ability would have helped take some pressure off of Lovejoy down the stretch. In the sense I think he was really missed.

Lovejoy did a great job with 8 assists! But none down the stretch.

The radio crew said Geeter had a knee injury at Akron that he couldn't loosen up for CMU. Sounded like a minor injury.

It did suck this year but the MAC is also balanced. Akron will lose most of its starters. We can move up with the right personnel incoming and retention.

Agree, Toledo lost 85% of their scoring, MAC player of the year, 5 starters, and Tod K guided Toledo to another MAC West title........4th straight MAC west title! .Tod K is a phenomenal coach, recruiter, winner........Maybe next season EMU can be next! 13-18, is better then 8-23 from last season........In Heath we trust!!!!!

Todd K is the MBB version of Frank Solich. ALWAYS near the top of the conference, ALWAYS feared and respected by opponents, but never a MAC champ. Maybe that changes this year. It's been a long time, he ain't no Nate Oats or Ben Braun.

I love Stan, but do I think he plugs in three or four guys into the current roster (minus Acuff) and makes EMU relevant? No. I hope Keith Stone feels the same way, he has the money to buy him out, I don't.
