The "WOKE" dog whistle
Okay I'm not kidding here. This is all true.

I finally figured out what "woke" means. Up until now it sounded like something to do with Star Wars and the "wookie". Why did the far-right all of a sudden have so much of a wookie fascination to turn it into a dog whistle?!

Previously I had heard Trump awkwardly use this new dog whistle during his first rally as ex-president about a month ago. Sounded like he didn't even know what it meant. But it seemed to excite the crowd, so he used it.

Then tonight my tv accidentally got left on Newsmax. They were using the "woke" dog whistle every other sentence. So much so I could get a "fix" on a definition. It basically means anyone fighting against structural white superiority in society. You'd naturally think this is a good thing. But obviously not to a white supremacist. That's why they made the dog whistle to ridicule the idea, trying to brainwash people into believing somehow there isn't structural white superiority in society. 03-lmfao I mean how can there be if anyone who thinks so is demonized as "woke".. which conjures the image of a wookie. 03-lmfao

Does this go back to the whole "critical race theory" idea? I can honestly say as a white guy growing up in the 70's and 80's, I was constantly being taught both directly and indirectly that there's something "superior" about being white over black. OF COURSE that still goes on. I know it for a fact because I "feel" it whenever I get around the Trump-types. So how exactly is it "bad" to fight against this structural racism?! It can NOT be good for society.

Well yea, because you are a f*cknut liberal. All of them believe they are superior. There's not a more racist group on the planet than liberals.

RE: The "WOKE" dog whistle
If you were taught to feel superior your parents, schools, neighbors, church, etc. either all failed you or your comprehension skills suck.

I grew up in the same era and was taught to see people based on their character not their skin color. I taught my kids the same.
We were working towards a color blind world. We were trying to fulfill MLKs dream of the content of character not color of skin.

Of course, liberals can't let go of playing the racism card because it keeps POC in their folds and keeps Jesse, Al, etc. employed.

OK, this waste of human flesh is doing nothing but playing the tired and mindless liberal ploy of divide, divide, divide.

Note how if you're a "Trump type" you're "brainwashed" and a "white supremacist". There's just no way that they can formulate a thought of their own.

And, we "Trump types" (as if there are no other "types") are and have been the problem since the founding of our country.

It's hilarious how is TV "accidentally" got left on Newsmax, thus opening his eyes to the hideousness that is anyone that doesn't think like the enlightened types... such as himself. Well dude, if this clear and obvious problem wasn't known to you until you accidentally turned on Newsmax, then you're more idiotic than you look in your post.

So keep shoveling the manure, a$$wipe. Nobody is buying what you're selling.

.....First off you need to find all the folks that convinced you that you were somehow a superior human being simply because of the pigment of your skin, and hit them all in the mouth. Cause they lied to you!!! I was taught from a very young age that my success or failure was determined by the choices I made, the education I obtained, and the effort I put forth. It's really a pretty simple concept.

The "WOKE" dog whistle
And to make himself feel better he said white superiority

If you're gonna bring it... bring it

Dont dance around it

And agree with others, if you were raised that way and actually believe that, then you were raised wrong.

All of this CRT white privilege BS is simple.... more excuses for leftist policies that have destroyed leftist shite holes. Blame all white people for the failures of.... what you have created.

I was just being honest. If you're white and you grew up in the Memphis area, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Just the extreme racial polarization in the voting is enough to prove I'm telling the truth. My parents are actually from the north and very much not the white superiority type. What I'm talking about is mainly just the lingo and subtle hints. You just go along with it because it's the way of life. Just like most went along with slavery back in the day because it was the way of life whether you supported it or not.

I'm not talking KKK, racial-war white supremacy. Just a general feeling of yeah sure, they are part of society, but they are somehow inferior.

I can even give an example of feeling it in school. The biggest confused moment I had in schooling in the south was being taught about the Civil War. They made a HUGE effort to say it wasn't really about slavery as much as the economy. That ALWAYS raised BS flags in me. OF COURSE it was about slavery. That drove all the other issues, not the other way around. Now today I FINALLY figured out why they taught it that way. Like if we're taught to believe it wasn't about slavery, then slavery must not have been so bad. Right? They taught it that way to feel better about themselves and their history, while effectively hiding the truth. I only briefly went to school in the north. Would have loved to have known how it was taught up there.

It's really a pretty simple concept.

Again it wasn't like they convinced me. I always knew better. But it was more like they all had to be convinced. Not me. I just went along with it in name only because I'd feel out of place if I didn't go along with the crowd. Just like 99% of the crowd is doing.

And THAT is the problem CRT is trying to solve.

RE: The "WOKE" dog whistle
So you admit to sticking your head so far in the sand to not know that conservatives and such are using "woke" as a sarcastic response to the BLM crowd calling their paranoia and misinterpretations of behavior "woke", and now you're an expert on CRT? I mean, your sig basically says "My opinion is only good for entertainment purposes" but if you're going to be entertaining, at least try to make it funny or something.

I can honestly say as a white guy growing up in the 70's and 80's, I was constantly being taught both directly and indirectly that there's something "superior" about being white over black.

Sounds like you had sorry parents.

or, he is flat-out lying. This is a cut-and-paste from Reddit probably.

Nobody talks like this.

I totally believe that.

Example(s)?

I can honestly say as a white guy growing up in the 70’s and 80’s, I met about 3 or 4 people who ever uttered white-supremacist ideas or concepts in my presence. The experience was so rare — and frankly, weird — that I am still able to remember the faces and voices of the people who said these things, although their names are long forgotten.

Quote:OF COURSE that still goes on. I know it for a fact because I "feel" it whenever I get around the Trump-types.

Ok Bigot. You study it. Leave us normal folks alone.

Fix yourself
