Wow how did the Bulls do in 94 when MJ went to baseball ?

How did your guy do ---before my guy got there ?

First off Jordan is not “my guy”. I don’t even think he’s the GOAT. But I’ll play your little game. He once scored 63 against the Celtics in the playoffs. Before Jordan the Bulls were one of the worst teams in the league. It’s true that Pippen, Grant and then Rodman helped put them over the top, but Pippen on his own was no leading man. He was Robin to Batman. Jordan never didn’t blame his bad play on a migraine or sulk on the bench when Phil drew a play up for Kukoc. But I forget your the clown who thinks Josh Pastner hung the moon because he got to the NCAA because of a weak CUSA.

What if Bill Walton, Wilt Chamberlain, Bob Cousy, Bill Russell, Julius Irvingh or Wes Unseld got there instead? See how stupid that sounds.

SIGH

Scottie Pippen was unable to guard the current coach of the Memphis Tigers. Michael Jordan shut him down.

Jordan was better overall...But I don't think who the better defender was is even close.

Pippen was the better defender.

I don't disagree. I'm just saying that for whatever reason, Jordan matched up better against Penny. Penny had his way with the Bulls until the game in '95-'96 where they switched from trying to defend Penny with Scottie/Rodman, and put Jordan on him. Jordan ate his lunch.

Now he has a gut!! Look at the picture on the Jalen Duren recruiting thread. Alas Adidas has killed GT's colors--they need their version of a Gray Avenger.
