I had not thought about that, but you are correct. That could make a noticeable difference in the standings.

I am not surprised by the results, honestly. This is a "step up" in competition across the board. There's some sports where the Texas institutions should be able to throw their weight around a bit but did not anticipate the newbies to put their foot down across the board.

We're just going to enjoy being at the top of the division for now. Next week you'll have us in Huntsville and Nacogdoches where you're clear favorites. Although we do seem to be getting better every week.

Very true. I had not thought of that as well. It does seem to give UTRGV a leg up in the Southwest division.

What, you're expecting to be eliminated in the first round of the tournament? Don't be such a pessimist. You've got a decent team, and might even earn the right to play us in the finals. Or at least the semifinals, just like the last time the tourney was in Las Cruces.

Great win for CSU! CSU has some fantastic players this year. They have a legitimate shot at winning the WAC tournament. I cannot remember a time when I could say that about a CSU sports team. Go Cougars!
