Can’t believe a 49 year old could be so whiny. Gen Xers are usually solid folks. Must be those Colorado roots.

In all seriousness this guy from the audience seemed to be well informed. He made some statements that if were not true should have been challenged. Nobody cares if someone gets butt hurt if everyone is trying to solve a devastating debilitating disease of autism. Correlation studies are how many diseases are eradicated. And, I personally do not believe this Dr showboating on TV has put much time into solving anything other than grandstanding. Nice!

I dont know the answer to that question either but I do know my grandson was saying 10 to 12 words at 11 months. Dada, ball, eat, light, nana, papa, bottle and a few more.

At 12.5 months he took his 1 year vaccine and from that point on he hardly ever talks. Will say a word for a few days then forget it. Its took almost 15 months to get him into the weisskopf center in Louisville Ky to go through their testing.

Of course his pediatrician believes it's autism and the vaccine has nothing to do with it. Yesterday he went through genetics testing that will look at over 20,000 genes.

You do not get to the rate of autism in this country unless something is going on. Yes, it could be that doctors years ago just didnt know to look for it. But still today there are no test just mainly observation to say a child has autism.

Hopefully one day genetics testing can identify it so we will know what the cause is. I'm not so sure it wasnt the vaccine that caused it. But at this point the cause of it is not that important...to us. But the rates have skyrocket in the US compared to some other countries
