Do you honestly believe that anything that has gone on with this election is/was not partisan? Really? Seriously?

Why even have one?

Great question. The most recent one obviously wasn't necessary. The left was able to install exactly who they wanted.

Y’all are willing to give up an awful lot to follow Donald Trump.

Just another in a string of ridiculous takes.

You keep misunderstanding our passionate hate for the left as some kind of love for Donald Trump. If he is the only alternative to the left, then we old our noses and vote for him, but that doesn't mean we love him. Whatever we give up, it is to defeat our enemies on the left, not to follow Donald iTrump.

There has always been an authoritarian vein running through the conservative movement in this country & it appears you’ve found your man.

Good Lord, you're an idiot.

The test found a number of other striking results: The 39-point gap in right-wing authoritarian scores between America’s left and right was more pronounced than it was in any of the other countries included, though the test also revealed a 30-point gap between the right and left in Canada and 28-point differences between the two groups in Australia and the United Kingdom.

So a "study" by a think tank with strong leftist tendencies produces results unfavorable to the right. No surprises there.

Since this would seem to be a pretty elusive concept to quantify, I'm wondering, what was their methodology, and what assumptions did they make? To be more specific, what questions were asked, and how were results interpreted?

By the way, what exactly is "right-wing authoritarian" and how does it differ from "left-wing authoritarian"?

So lazy…
If it doesn’t jive with your worldview question the methodology & the source.

Morning Consult is now a liberal think tank & the methodology flawed?

If I asked you what most defines Donald Trump supporters, what would you say? They’re white? They’re poor? They’re uneducated?

You’d be wrong.

In fact, I’ve found a single statistically significant variable predicts whether a voter supports Trump—and it’s not race, income or education levels: It’s authoritarianism.

Overall, we rate the Morning Consult Least Biased based on mostly neutral polling and low biased story selection. We also rate them Very High for factual reporting due to a proven polling methodology and a reliable source for fact-checkers.

Morning Consult is now a liberal think tank & the methodology flawed?

Or if it does jive with your worldview, accept it as gospel without question.

And my questions still stand.
Exactly what were the methodology and assumptions used in the study?
And exactly what does right-wing authoritarian mean?
And exactly how does it differ from left-wing authoritarian?
And which side of the USA political spectrum is more closely left-wing authoritarian?

Bottom line, you've posted a result with terminology that is so ambiguous as to be meaningless. Put some meat on those bones, and maybe there's something worth discussing.
