DL Wesley King
Defensive lineman Wesley King (6-5, 270) of Appleton (Wisc.) North High School announced this morning via Twitter he has received a scholarship offer from South Dakota.

A class of 2022 recruit, King received an offer from Central Michigan on June 9 and visited CMU the weekend of June 26-27 to attend a football camp. He also reports offers from Wyoming, North Dakota State, Illinois State, North Dakota, South Dakota and Northern Iowa.

Mr. King has been taking his time making up his mind. As much as I'd like to see him join the number of successful Chips from Wisconsin it seems like he may be waiting on a better offer. I guess only time will tell.

King was offered a scholarship by the Chippewas on June 9 and attended the CMU game against Florida International on Sept. 25.

He also has an official visit scheduled with Wyoming Dec. 10-12. The Cowboys offered King a scholarship on Oct. 12.

Thanks for the update on him.
From his Twitter he seemed pretty excited about his Wyoming offer (although I'm not sure why). I will say that I'd rather have him take his time making up his mind rather than bouncing like a ping pong ball committing to different schools. A commitment should be that... a commitment. We'll be excited to have you when you know for sure.

Thanks for the update BW...I think a big interior D Lineman is about the only position group we haven't received a signed LOI from. Transfer portal could be the new plan there.

Hoping Robi Stuart is back for a final go round in 2022!
