This article is hard to read/follow...

There's a reason for that. This aggregation is actually sort of a fake site, probably originating from Russia, China or some place like the Ukraine. These sites scrape (steal) articles from elsewhere (such as legit news organizations) and publish via artificial intelligence to serve ads on them. It's why the stories are often gibberish as humans didn't write the text or it's written by someone in a basement who doesn't actually speak English. Honestly, this sort of stuff is probably funded by cyber ops to get clickbait money off google ads and then fund disinformation campaigns or organized crime.
