Yeah, I saw the sign and interpreted it as some kind of practice/conditioning facility. But then what are those padded chairs for? Players watching video clips? VIPs watching secret scrimmages?

Yes, for watching game video, speakers and coaches addressing the team, etc.

Edinburger, I think you are asking about the seating area? I think that’s a room for players to watch game film, meetings etc. The picture doesn’t show the whole room but I don’t think the seating shown is for the court. I think that’s what you meant with your question?

My question would be what is the net reduction in seating for a game? I'm sure it is not significant, and the income will probably go up.

I assume you are asking about the Pan Am suites? Between 550 and 580 lower bowl seats will be affected. Revenue is projected at $200,000 a year.

According the NMSU site, the PAC capacity is currently 12,572. After the addition of the new suites, the arena capacity should drop to approximately 12K.
