The money allocated for the PAC should help to make the arena more esthetically pleasing for the fan experience and recruiting. As for the AMS, the locker rooms are badly needed for the Aggie football team. It should help with recruiting immensely. However, the stadium still needs a new press box, more restrooms, and expanded concession area to bring Aggie Memorial to its' full glory. Hopefully that will come in the not-too-distant future. But still, these announced improvements should make a big difference for Aggie Athletics.

I hope you guys get those improvements to the stadium. Even if it is a refurbished pressbox take it and run with it!

Honestly they didn’t show enough of what it’s supposed to be for how long it has been approved. Probably just going slow due to all the projects going on around campus. However, I think we’ll see/hear more soon from them.

The new TSU Convocation and Events Center is slated to be approximately 7,500 to 8,000 seats in capacity. Once built, it will be the second largest arena in the WAC only behind Utah Valley's 8,500-seat arena. Tarleton will quickly have some of the nicest facilities in the WAC.

Dr. Hurley said where the new arena was to be built but I assumed he misspoke during the state of the university. Then I went and looked at the video with the shot of the new arena and Hurley was correct. The new arena will be built where the tennis courts are currently located. The latest alumni magazine stated there are upgrades coming to the tennis facilities.

Have a feeling they move tennis over to where the Baseball and Softball fields currently are.

The new GATA fountain was finally completed outside the South Moody entrance. It is now a fountain and garden gathering area.
