The founding fathers have played poorly on offense, but came back and it is now tied after one quarter 18-18. I don’t think they’ve made a single trey.

Pretty sure you're right. 8 for 8 from the free throw line sure is nice to see though.

Games are certainly more physical with a loose whistle in the TBT and so far the FF haven’t been able to handle it. Marshall has a few guys who can throw around bodies to get boards or loose balls. The FF do not. Down 35-32 at the half.

Moved the ball around....got back in the game. Then it became a lot of bad playground. Bad shots and no movement.

Curry is keeping the FF in the game with 5 treys in the first 3 quarters. FF down 59-55.
Just getting ragdolled physically.
We’ll see if these guys are in shape or if they wilt in the 4th when intensity ramps up.

69-69 tie going in to the Elam Ending, first to 77 takes it.

FF go down in the Elam ending 77-71. Not enough beef on the inside for the good guys. I’d like to see a box score to see how many points their bigs had on power backdowns and how many boards they had.

Oh well. I like the shirt I got in the mail.

Real close and might have pulled it out if Scooter and Moore get charges called (which I thought both were) instead of blocking calls that went against us.

Fun concept and sorry they're out.

Tough loss. Only watched the last 9 minutes. A couple of those blocking calls on the FF were suspect, especially the last one where the Herd player threw out an arm. Those were possessions that could have made a difference in the outcome. But the observation that the FF need some beef is spot on. Hope they’ll continue to try and compete next year.

Tough loss. Always enjoy some summer JMU sports related action.

Curry has 27 points and went 6-10 from the 3. He recently moved to the top league in France. Pretty cool to see that he won a Hungarian and Latvian league championship and continues to move up in Euro ball.

Yeah some of those calls were frustrating to say the least. Could definitely use some more size though, wonder what Rayshawn and Denzel are up to lol. A few moments felt like we were on the other side of Rayshawn just bullying Northeastern guys in the paint in that CAA Championship game.

A lot of fun to watch, and stressful just like any one and done tournament. Really looking forward to keeping on watching these guys each year hopefully. I guess we've gotta cheer for Herd That to take it down for the SBC now.

Just thought about, I wonder why Stuckey wasn't there. Definitely could've used another deep threat as well.

Think he had an injury.
