Semi OT: More FCS on Linear ESPN
ESPN is adding more FCS football games to the lineup of games on their linear channels and no, it’s not just the HBCU games that we have historically seen on ESPN (or the playoffs for that matter)

Just added six Ivy League games (https://ivyleague.com/news/2021/7/6/six-...eason.aspx) and previously added a pair of Big Sky games. The Ivy games are not on Saturday and I get that this scheduling of football not on Saturday but on linear ESPN is in line with sacrifices made by MAC, Sun Belt and similar leagues (though not CUSA which seems to play on Saturdays on not so accessible platforms).

This is a nice expansion of access to FCS football games on linear TV.

Still waiting to hear what the WAC does pertaining to broadcasting. Last we saw, it was FloSports vs ESPN
