Donald Trump’s company and his longtime finance chief are expected to be charged Thursday with tax-related crimes stemming from a New York investigation into the former president’s business dealings, people familiar with the matter told The Associated Press.

The charges against the Trump Organization and the company’s chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, appear to involve non-monetary benefits the company gave to top executives, possibly including use of apartments, cars and school tuition.

I read a day or so back that only some employees were being charged - not the company.

I'm guessing they are doing this to try to get him to cooperate on other stuff.

You could literally find what they found at Trumps organization at 99% of corporations in the country....if you were that worried about it

Exactly. If its avoiding taxes on non cash benefits they would NEVER arrest them. They would simply try to collect taxes.

So basically the dude got some company non-monetary perks and didn’t list them on the proper forms

It's easy to identify those that get all their info from the MSM and don't know anything about the topic other than what they are told. The whole tax return nonsense is/was a prime example of that.
