When will the Big East go FBS
When is the BE going to become a FBS conference?

It's just not for us. Half of the Big East schools are in areas where college football is a complete afterthought (I-95 corridor). The other half of the schools are in old Big Ten country, not fertile soil to grow new FBS programs with the goal of some day, maybe, catching up to --the MAC.

And of course, the schools have all been in a conference with FBS/AQ schools, and there's just no interest in going back down that road.

You're more likely to see George MAson try for FBS than Georgetown, Illinois State than DePaul, Nebraska-Omaha than Creighton. And none of those three are happening in the next 10 years.
