JV being in the trade was a pretty big detail to leave out . Lol

Ehh the primary point of the trade rumor still holds up lol

The Grizz including their T-2nd leading scorer who has the highest FG% and the most rebounds per game is a minor point?

I think Yonas was more valuable than JJJ.

It is not even deabtable that Jonas was more valuable last season, JJJ Hardly played and when he did it was coming back from injury , I hope JJJ tuens out to be an all star ...it is not a guarantee based on his track record of injuries ---

This is a internet rumor of a trade - I hope it is true, but there has been zero word on this yet

The primary point was getting the 10th pick. The "rumor" was right about that point; it wasn't someone just throwing stuff out and see if it sticks. It doesn't matter now though. Let's see what the organization does on draft day. Jonas wasn't in the long term plans so I personally don't see it as a huge loss long term.

They are out there, many have broke out in the league, we have to find one ourselves.

We have to locate the next Giannis, Luka type. IMO they are more likely to stay with the team long term.

That makes no sense at all. We already have a superstar. We just have to build around him.

Its makes no sense at all to have multiple superstars on your team if you are trying to win an NBA championship?

Ok, buddy.

We will just have to agree to disagree. 04-cheers

We may be targeting Josh Giddy at 10, idk

He's a really good passer and decent defender but not currently a good scorer or shooter. I have always thought with Ja driving and dishing that we would be best surrounding him with shooters.

Bouknight's outside shot is suspect and didn't he avg more turnovers than assists at UConn last season?

He's a shooting guard so he only averaged 1.8 assists and 2.8 turnovers.

a SG that shot 34.7% from 3 ... 2 years ago. Last year, he regressed and shot an amazing 29.3% from 3. 05-nono

Curious to see how this plays out. Seems dumb to get rid of JV, but whatever.

I have thought so as well, at least as far as our immediate needs go and why Moody makes sense, but he seems most likely to be our guy if we don't move up.

It looks like Moses Moody will be off they board 7-9.

Franz Wagner might be the man if available but Giddy is intruiging and very young. Either one of these might be the guy we are looking for if we can't move up enough to land Moody or Kuminga.

Looks like Kyle Anderson and Tyus Jones. (or Grayson Allen) might be trade bait, along with Bledsoe. If it's Tyus Jones probably means a 3 team deal. Some picks will also be involved, hopefully we can keep all of ours for next season.

You just really can't tell who's going to be around in the 10 spot. I would love to have Moody, Wagner or Kispert. Moody and Wagner will probably be gone unless we move up though.

Moody and Kispert were there. Williams I think is more of a risk, but he's got height that the other 2 do not. NBA draft is always about potential, even in the lottery. Sometimes you take a risk for the potential of a higher payoff. If williams can be a consistent shooter, it will be a good pick.

Yeah, he evidently has a tough year and the Grizz believe he will move beyond that.

I like that we moved up and got another big Spaniard at 30 in Aldama, he apparently will be counted on to give us some depth inside as JJJ is so foul prone. This young man, Aldama looks promising and he would likely have gone higher had he not attended Loyola. We did pretty good with Pau and Marc so here's hoping the Grizz drafted another big cat from the same mold.

Zaire Williams is not a terrible pick, its just that we overpaid for him. Essentially we got the Lakers first round pick next year and Adams for him. Adams is a good big but not quite the scorer Val was for us. Aldama is a very efficient scorer inside but will need to put on some weight it appears.

Overall, it was kind of a strange night for the Grizlies but maybe we picked up two underrated players. Aldama. only cost us 2 second round picks.

Usman Garuba is an intriguing prospect if you watch his videos. He may be gone by 17th pick.

For the 2nd round, i like Herbert Jones from Bama.

What about luke garza with the 2nd round pick?
