RE: "New' CFP and future FB scheduling
Need to win more of those so-called minor bowl games. With all the great seasons past, NIU is 0-5 post-BCS Orange.
Especially the Quick Lane. Yeah, Detroit is not exactly holiday vacation city during December, but it's reachable and the game this year is vs. the Big10, the only guaranteed P5 on the bowl sked.
The MAC HQ can also do some things. E.g., use a multi-location travel agency to put together a vacation package to the Bahamas Bowl, then make it available to fans of whoever goes when it's announced. (Passports required). Butts in seats may not matter to ESPN, but looks good on TV. Might even be done with other bowls. Let the HQ get off its butt and do something for the fans, since it salad-forked the local fans with that TV contract.
-- Dec. 27 Quick Lane Detroit, Mich. MAC vs. Big Ten 11 a.m. (ESPN)

General comments:
--- MAC has 5 for sure, six with the Arizona
--- Most prominent: Has to be the Quick Lane vs. Big Ten/P5.
--- Hardest to get to: Bahamas. Get those passports ready. Unbeatable pre-holiday vacation spot.
--- Most tradition with MAC: Idaho Potato. Blue field (ugh) and cold. But you get fries with that.
--- Best for golf on the side: Myrtle Beach (duh)
