Interesting. His dad was certainly productive many years ago--tough player to contain. Another chance for JJ to use that former UVA coaching pedigree. With this competition, I think he'll need it. Couldn't agree more with Mo here, "Let us hope".

Moving on ... I hope that Brandon decides to come to ODU to play his college basketball. After reading up on him, he seems like he has the tools to become a very good D1 player at the 4 or 5 position.

Does he want to win ballgames in front of big crowds and have a chance at the NCAA tournament (ODU) or does he want to play on TV on a bottom dweller in a better conference (ECU)? Seems like that is the choice.

The pessimist in me says you visit the school you are most interested in first and on the prime weekend days of Friday and Saturday. The optimist in me says you save the best for last and he doesn't want to go to school in the boondocks of NC. I sure hope JJ has his recruiting hat on.

Most people that follow recruiting say they would rather be the last school

That along with how close does he want to be to home. Seems like he has been playing his basketball in North Carolina thus far.

ECUs campus is dead right now. It’s summer, so I doubt the weekend helps them at all in this decision.

ECU is getting some good players in there. This is gonna be a tough battle to win.
