Stanley is a load. Dude is strong and pretty agile for his size. I haven't heard much about the other new guys except was told that Baker is a very good shooter.

Dude is a beast. He should do very well at ODU.

6'8" F Stephan Morris (ODU/VSU) has also been getting some love.

Excellent news. Im excited to be hearing some good pre-season reports about one of our guys.

I'm happy to hear the solid reports on Stanley although I was always more concerned about the other two big guys coming into the program. Stanley has an established track record of being a good player at the D1 level.

I'm also hoping that Wade is able to be a major contributor to the team (i.e. in the regular rotation) this season as well. If so then that would be big help to the depth of the team. I can see where this team could have a lot of potential if the big guys can perform, and they all come together well on the floor.

I’m starting to get excited about watching Stanley play. He could be the best guy on the team.

When is ODU going to update the roster on their website? It’s hard to tell who we have and how many years of eligibility they have remaining. Verbal commits isn’t keeping up either.

I think the Sports Information Dept waits until a couple of weeks after school starts to make sure everyone listed on the roster is actually enrolled in the fall semester and taking the required number of classes.

A little late, Ben Stanley did win MVP for 7CityProAm league. He avg 27 ppg. Well done. Last Monarch to achieve this was Baze.

Not a MBB Recruiting comment but this is an active thread so I will ask here. I saw over on Facebook a posting that said the deadline to renew MBB tickets is August 24. Yet, so far we have gotten NOTHING from anywhere about renewing our tickets. So have we been missed in some mailing (email or snail mail) or are others on here in the same boat?

I'd check your junk mail for your email. I'm not a big/important donor by any means and I got a renewal email a day or so ago.
