But they weren't on the team that year. Besides who is Jackson, Miner or Mayberry? Never heard of them.

We were playing what if . Day a "MEMPHIAN" was on Arkansuck . Jackson (Ohio St)---Miner (BABY SHAQ)---Mayberry also a hog.

I guess I have never really understood posts about things that never happened in sports. The point being ...it didn't happen. The what- ifs would never end---heck we could spend years just talking about the what-ifs in just our program. What if Lee-Finch--Rose--Bradley--Penny were all in the same class[[[what if that plane hadn't went down --what if they had called Kansas out of bounds---what if Walton hadn't hit 21 of 22 shots--what if they had called offensive goaltending ---what if we didn't get screwed at Temple----what if Fuente hadn't checked out after OLD PISS game---what if JUDAS/BENEDICT/FREDO/X hadn't thrown the Missouri game---etc etc ...millions more

I guess it is fun to speculate

The difference is that when someone asks what if about Vaughn who was a Memphis Tiger and was injured THAT YEAR, or Gray and Alexander who were Memphis Tigers and ruled ineligible THAT YEAR, it isn't dumb like when the comparison is with a player from 40 years ago, who was never at Memphis and the comparison is from them playing in the NBA or NFL.

I know that you know that Day was not a TIGER--which is why I responded ---so what good does it do to speculate ---what if the "Master Blaster" ---What if Harris---what if Young---etc etc all signed with MEMPHIS--what if Amare hadn't went pro--the what ifs would never end
