Joe Saulsberry wins a doubles major. I think his second.

RE: Former Memphis Tigers standout wins French Open mixed doubles title
In December of 2011, I visited London for the Christmas holiday season. While eating dinner at a crowded restaurant with my family one evening, I saw a young man seated at a nearby table wearing a University of Memphis baseball cap. I could not let the opportunity pass to say hello to the kid wearing a cap from my alma matter so I introduced myself and had a brief conversation. It was Joe Salisbury! I think he was as surprised to see a U of M alumni in London as I was to college-age kid wearing a Tiger hat in England. The conversation was brief but I remember him telling me about playing tennis for the U of M and how much he enjoyed Memphis. I never followed U of M tennis so he was just another college kid to me. What I remember well after all these years was how he impressed me with his maturity and friendliness. I am happy for his success as a pro and hope it continues.
